Founded in 1993 and based in Houston, TX, EPS Software/CODE is widely-recognized for advanced technical expertise and the ability to help companies build better software. We serve clients worldwide from offices in Houston and Salzburg, Austria, within a variety of industries including oil & gas, information & technology, medical, legal, and a host of others. In addition to writing new applications, we also specialize in converting legacy code, such as Visual FoxPro or Winforms, to use modern technologies like WPF and various mobile devices. Additionally, we train developers with our CODE Training division and we produce CODE Magazine - the Leading Independent Magazine for Software Developers.

Markus Egger, President and Chief Software Architect, has previously been an on-site contractor with the Microsoft Visual Studio team. Throughout the company’s history, Microsoft has chosen to partner with us on numerous engagements including the development of portions of the Visual Studio product and add-ons, various customer projects including on-site client consultations and on-site customer training, writing Microsoft Certification Exams and writing miscellaneous other content including entire magazines as well as individual articles and whitepapers. We are constantly involved with the latest Microsoft technologies and regularly attends Microsoft Strategic Design Review (SDR) sessions, an invitational-only engagement from Microsoft to review their latest technologies and provide real-world feedback. EPS employees have been recognized by Microsoft with Regional Director and Influencer titles, Microsoft Excellence Awards and more Microsoft MVP awards than any other company.
