.NET Conf 2024 Recap - CANCELED!
Markus Egger
THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED! - NET Conf 2024 will be the official release event of .NET 9. Join us for a recap of the most important announcements and developments of the event.
This event took place on Monday, November 18, 2024.
After carefully reviewing the announcements and updates from the conference, we realized that there wasn’t enough substantial content to deliver the impactful and engaging session we had envisioned for you. Rather than hold an event that doesn’t meet our standards or your expectations, we have decided to cancel this event.
That is not to say that there are no important new features in .NET 9. It simply means that .NET is a very mature platform that isn't calling for massive new features. However, features around performance improvements or improvements for Windows, Web, and Mobile development are very welcome and important for those engaged in those specific scenarios. We are happy to see that our platform of choice is evolving and improving with every version. With that said, we feel that that these features are too specific to pack them into a general-interest recap event.
Note: If you have specific questions about this, please reach out to us either at info@codemag.com, or use the our Contact page, and we will be happy to set up a free consultation (subject to availability on a first-come, first-serve basis).
Other Events
While we feel a general recap-event is not warranted, we do feel there are many specific subjects to talk about in more specific events, such as our upcoming CODE Presents sessions on .NET features, AI features, database features, and many more. Please take a look at www.codemag.com/codepresents for our upcoming list of events.
