About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled SCADA Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial automation and control systems, ensuring reliable operation of remote monitoring and control equipment.

This role requires the candidate to work on-site at our clients’ office in San Antonio, TX.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain SCADA hardware, software, and communication networks

  • Troubleshoot and repair SCADA system issues

  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and security updates

  • Develop and modify SCADA graphics, reports, and control strategies

  • Work with IT and engineering teams to ensure system integration and cybersecurity compliance

  • Document system configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience working with SCADA systems, industrial control systems, or automation

  • Proficient in programming languages such as SQL, C++, or Python

  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, firewalls, VPNs) and cybersecurity best practices

  • Experience in SCADA/HMI design, configuration, programming, testing and troubleshooting

  • Experience with software like Wonderware, Ignition, CygNet, or similar SCADA platforms is a plus

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Good critical thinking and communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus
